A renowned sportsman of India, Cottari Kanakaiya Nayudu Domeulu better known as Cotah Ramaswami, has marked his name in the annals of Indian cricketing history. Born on January 31, 1896 in Vuyyuru, Andhra Pradesh, India and passed away at an unverified time around July 15, 1985. He was not only a cricketer but also excelled in two other sports – Tennis and Hockey.

Inspired by his father who was keenly interested in tennis and cricket, young Ramaswamy showed promise early on with intense training under his father’s guidance. His father, CK Naidu, laid down a solid foundation for him through uncompromised coaching sessions often considered ahead of their times.
