Born and raised in Maharashtra, Devika’s cricketing journey began with school tournaments before she made her way to national games. She became part of Maharashtra State Women’s Cricket Team securing her spot through sheer talent and determination.

  • In 2006, Devika entered into international cricket making her One Day International (ODI) debut against Pakistan women’s team where she played an instrumental role in leading India to victory.
  • The following year, she was selected for the World Cup held in Australia, adding another accolade to her growing list of achievements.
  • Her career-best score came soon after when she smashed an unbeaten 86 runs against Bengal during the senior women’s T20 league match.

After retiring from professional playing, Devika transitioned into coaching and mentoring upcoming talents. In fact, within just a few years transitioning into this new role, Devika Pashlikar received the prestigious Level B certification from Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

  • In July 2017, Devika embarked on her coaching journey starting at age-group national level where she coached under-19 KSCA boys’ teams that competed nationally.
  • Under her tutelage the team emerged as champions during Vinoo Mankad Trophy in the year 2017-18.
  • The following year, Devika was appointed as assistant coach for India A Women’s Team, further testament to her dedication and commitment towards the sport. Under her guidance even at this level, the Indian cricketing women’s team has shown remarkable progress.
