Jaydev Unadkat
Born on October 18, 1991 in Porbandar, Gujarat, Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat is a renowned Indian cricketer who has represented India at several international levels. His primary role is that of the left-arm medium-fast bowler.
Early Life and Career
- Unadkat was an active cricket player since his school days where he used to play for Duleep school of cricket. He then moved into domestic cricket when he was just fifteen years old.
- Led by his incredible performance at the Under-19 World Cup in New Zealand, he rapidly rose through ranks to catch national selectors’ attention. His debut came almost immediately after the U-19 World Cup, in the back end of 2010 when he played for India against South Africa.
- In his first-class career, playing mostly for Saurashtra in Ranji Trophy, Unadkat managed impressive stats with regular key wickets which propelled him to be one of the notable players in domestic circuit.
