Vadamarachchi Rajagopal Vanjuramalinga (VRV) Singh, often simply known as VRV Singh, is a retired Indian cricketer. He was born on October 9, 1984 in Chandigarh and made his professional cricketing debut for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy during the 2003–04 season.

  • Punjab Domestic Career: VRV first showed up in domestic cricket representing Punjab in the annual Ranji Trophy competition. His successful performances earned him national recognition over time.
  • National Team Selection: After consistent showings in domestic games, he was selected in the National team to play Test Cricket in 2006 against England where he performed well and justified his selection.

In December 2018, Singh announced his retirement from all forms of cricket because of chronic back pain which resulted after years of fast bowling.
