Born on 18 June 2001, Yastika Bhatia is a promising Indian cricketer who has proved her mettle in the cricket fraternity. She was born and brought up in Baroda, Gujarat and has represented India in various international cricket matches.
Beginning of Her Career
The passion for cricket loomed within Yastika from a very young age. As she turned 13, this left-hand batswoman was officially enrolled into Baroda Cricket Association’s Under-16 team. Displaying unmatched skills and proving to be an asset to the team, she got promptly promoted to the Under-19 squad. During the 2018–19 Senior Women’s One-Day League, Yastika performed exceptionally well by scoring 211 runs that included two half-centuries.
Milestone Achievements
- Domestic Debut: Yastika made her Women’s Twenty20 debut for Baroda in the year 2018 during which she exhibited top-level performance. On her first-class one-day debut against Bengal in 2019, young dynamo scored a good starting run rate establishing herself as a reliable asset for Team India.
- International Debut: The International groundbreaking journey of yastika started in October 2021 where she played against Australia Woman’s national cricket team . With unflinching determination and perseverance, Yastika gave breathtaking performances.
